A while ago I decided to try out feather nails. It was one of my less successful manicures.
I had watched a tutorial where they said you could put a coat of nailpolish down and the feather would just stick. It didn’t really work out that way - instead the feather just got coated in nailpolish and immediately fell off when it dried. I repainted my nails and applied a coat of The Best Glue Ever. The feathers stuck to the nail pretty well after that. Only problem was trying to trim the feather around the nail once they were glued on. I couldn’t get close enough and there were a lot of little bits hanging over the skin. After a day or so parts of each feather started to peel up.
Yeah… not doing this one again.
